Business analyst

We are "responsible rebels" who believe in the power of an organization built around trust. As a business analyst, you seamlessly engage with architects and developers as well as employees and stakeholders of our clients. You are part of a development team and are responsible for the analysis of business processes, functional, and technical specifications.

Your role within Respellion

We have a flat organizational structure that prioritizes teamwork. You work on result-driven projects for our clients, but you are also an integral part of the Respellion team. Together with your team members, you share the responsibilities typically held by a manager. This means you have a lot of autonomy and freedom to craft jour job. We provide space for your ideas and give you the opportunity to implement them!

How do we envision your role?

As a business analyst, you are the link between IT and business. This means that you can analyse business processes and, together with the client, come up with the right requirements for a digital solution. You work closely with the product owner of a client, but it may also be that you act as a “proxy” product owner for the client. In both cases, you proceed very proactively and decisively.

Our “responsible agile” approach ensures that we maintain control over progress and budget. It is crucial that we are transparent in backlog management. First and foremost, you can uncover the underlying needs. Listening comes before advising. Furthermore, you can accurately describe user stories and make estimations together with a development team.

We believe in the principles of the agile manifesto and the frameworks of the scrum framework. Therefore, you have the competencies and knowledge to put that into practice. It is important to pay attention to the essence of agile methodologies, without being dogmatic.

Your skills for facilitating workshops are very important. We place great value on alignment with the client regarding the expectations of the functionality to be delivered. This requires both persuasive ability and organizational sensitivity.

T-shaped professionals

Respellion works with T-shaped professionals, and as a business analyst, we also expect you to have a broad perspective on the tasks. Your focus is on backlog management, but you are also capable of fulfilling a role as a developer in a scrum team if necessary. This means that you are willing to contribute to all tasks required to deliver value to the customer.
