Respellion believes that sustainable software emerges through good collaboration. That means we give trust, communicate openly, and always put the shared interest above the individual interest.

We work with a caring attitude toward one another and feel responsible for the shared result.

A little rebellious

We dare to stray from the beaten path. With nerve, sound reasoning, and self-discipline. Making mistakes is allowed; that is how we learn.

Agreements are kept and we take responsibility for our work.

Sustainability

Respellion strives for balance between people, nature, and economy. Short-term interests are subordinate to long-term impact.

Hence our choice for the open source model and our sense of responsibility for society.

We work from a set of core values that form the foundation of our organization, our collaboration, and the behavior we strive for.

Trust

We give trust by letting go: for us, that is the foundation of collaboration. We trust others and are open and transparent. Everyone can rely on each other and we stand for results.

Courage

We have the nerve to stray from the beaten path when we see things we can improve. Making mistakes is fine and we welcome feedback. That is exactly how we learn to do it (even) better.

We make clear agreements and stick to them. We take responsibility for our activities, have the discipline to keep developing ourselves, and set clear priorities.

How it started

After their shared experience in the growth of software supplier QDelft and its later acquisition by the Danish company Netcompany, the management team found each other again. With a shared dedication to business-critical and socially relevant systems, this led to the founding of Respellion: a little rebellious, with a strong sense of responsibility for society.
